A Pakistani security source said on the 2nd that Indian border guards shot and killed two Palestinian civilians near the India-Pakistan border in the Kasur region of eastern Pakistan's Punjab province on the same day. The source said that as soon as the three villagers crossed the border post, Indian border guards “opened fire on them without warning,” killing 2 people and injuring 1 person. None of these villagers were armed. The source said that India's practices violate the India-Pakistan border agreement and standard operating procedures. The Indian media “fabricated facts” and labeled Palestinian civilians as so-called “infiltrators.”
