Dole Posts Downbeat Q1 Earnings, Joins Ocular Therapeutix And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Monday's Pre-Market Session

U.S. stock futures were slightly lower this morning, with the Dow futures falling around 0.1% on Monday.

Shares of Dole PLC (NYSE:DOLE) fell sharply in pre-market trading following downbeat first-quarter earnings.

Dole posted adjusted EPS of 33 cents, missing market estimates of 34 cents. The company's quarterly sales came in at $2.342 billion versus estimates of $2.226 billion.

Dole shares dipped 5.9% to $14.00 in pre-market trading.

  • Design Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:DSGN) fell 5.1% to $13.50 in pre-market trading.
  • Independence Realty Trust, Inc (NYSE:IRT) declined 5.1% to $15.60 in pre-market trading.
  • Korea Electric Power Corp (NYSE:KEP) slipped 5% to $14.69 in pre-market trading.
  • WaFd Inc (NASDAQ:WAFD) fell 4.6% to $33.93 in pre-market trading.
  • Werner Enterprises Inc (NASDAQ:WERN) fell 4.5% to $34.80 in pre-market trading.
  • Ocular Therapeutix Inc (NASDAQ:OCUL) declined 3.3% to $9.33 in pre-market trading. Ocular Therapeutix reported inducement grants under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4).
