U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 300 points on Thursday.

Shares of STAAR Surgical Co (NASDAQ:STAA) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Staar Surgical reported quarterly earnings of 10 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of loss of 6 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $93.522 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $75.509 million.

STAAR Surgical gained 8.7% to $31.96 on Thursday.

• Accelerant Holdings (NYSE:ARX) gained 18.5% to $14.85 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
• Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO) gained 15.7% to $117.90 as the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 guidance.
• Purecycle Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:PCT) gained 15.4% to $11.77.
• Wolfspeed Inc (NYSE:WOLF) surged 13% to $70.73.
• Copa Holdings, S.A. (NYSE:CPA) jumped 12.1% to $128.80 following strong quarterly results.
• Ondas Inc (NASDAQ:ONDS) shares jumped 11.5% to $9.88 following first-quarter results.
• Klarna Group PLC (NYSE:KLAR) gained 11.5% to $15.26 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly sales results.
• Redwire Corp (NYSE:RDW) jumped 10.6% to $12.71.
• Viking Holdings Ltd (NYSE:VIK) rose 10.5% to $90.83 following upbeat quarterly results.
• Aquestive Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:AQST) rose 9.4% to $4.52 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
• Julong Holding Ltd (NASDAQ:JLHL) rose 8.8% to $18.50.
• Yeti Holdings Inc (NYSE:YETI) surged 7.6% to $41.25 after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and raised its FY26 adjusted EPS guidance above estimates. Also, the company raised its FY26 sales guidance.
• Lumen Technologies Inc (NYSE:LUMN) gained 7.5% to $10.10.
• Ford Motor Co (NYSE:F) rose 6.5% to $14.46.
