Orchid Island Capital, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE:ORC) announced that the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") approved an increase to its previously announced stock repurchase program (the "Repurchase Program") for up to an additional 25,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock, which results in a total authorization under the Repurchase Program for up to 26,612,580 shares, representing approximately 13.3% of the Company’s currently outstanding shares of common stock.
