02:16 AM EDT, 07/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bayer (BAYN.F) said Friday it secured a 3 billion-euro equity capital deal with asset management firm Apollo Global Management. Apollo-managed funds and affiliates will acquire a minority, non-controlling stake in a newly established entity holding the German life science company's long-acting reversible contraceptives business. Bayer, which will retain a majority stake and operational control of the entity, said the investment will improve its capital structure. Subject to regulatory clearances, the deal is expected to close in the third quarter.
