EVP John Bosko of NAI Capital Commercial’s Investment Services Group represented Orange County Music & Dance (OCMD) in the acquisition of a 24,670-square-foot educational facility located at 17872 Cowan in Irvine. The property sold for $10,800,000, or $438 per square foot.

Located near OCMD’s existing Fitch Campus at 17620 Fitch, the acquisition will effectively double the nonprofit performing arts school’s instructional space to nearly 50,000 square feet. Scheduled to open in November, the new Cowan Campus will increase enrollment capacity by 400 students and accommodate expanded music, dance, and performing arts programs from early childhood through adulthood.

Bosko said, “Orange County Music & Dance had a clear vision to expand its impact throughout the community, and this property was an ideal fit for its next phase of growth. Its location adjacent to the existing campus and its adaptable layout will allow the organization to significantly expand programming while continuing to serve families throughout Orange County.”
