01:48 AM EDT, 07/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates to add Philippine Airlines' statement) Philippine Airlines is set to unveil an order for Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) and Boeing (BCO.F) aircraft at this month's Farnborough Airshow in the UK, Reuters reported Friday, citing industry sources. The order includes nine Airbus A350-1000 jets and 15 Boeing 787-10 aircraft, according to the report. The Boeing order is said to be the Philippine flag carrier's first purchase from the US planemaker in almost 20 years. Philippine Airlines declined to comment on the matter, while Airbus and Boeing did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
