11:49 PM EDT, 07/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- KME Group (KME.MI) completed the acquisition of the 55% stake it did not already own in the copper-focused metal-processing business Cunova. The Milan-listed metal processing group gained full control of the business through agreements with certain Apollo Global Management-advised funds and the Paragon Partners-managed The Paragon Fund III GmbH & Co. geschlossene Investment, according to a July 10 filing. The transaction involved the repurchase of the 55% stake from Paragon and the refinancing of Cunova's 170 million euros of outstanding senior secured debt. KME also integrated KME Germany's aerospace business and foundry assets into Cunova as part of the deal.
