11:06 AM EDT, 07/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UBS Global Research expects Diageo (DGE.L) to see a 2.7% decline in organic revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter when the alcoholic beverage group publishes its latest annual financial report on Aug. 6. Diageo's net sales are projected to come in at $4.77 billion in the final quarter of fiscal 2026, against the Visible Alpha consensus of $4.74 billion, UBS said in a July 10 earnings preview note. For the full fiscal year, the group is anticipated to report $19.70 billion in net sales, compared with market forecasts of $19.64 billion. "As recently highlighted in our report, we think the strategy update from new CEO Dave Lewis could lead to downgrades for the US Spirits business where we think expectations are too high (UBSe FY27 North America EBIT -9% v VA cons), however we think we think this can be mitigated by higher cost savings and upside in APAC (Baijiu lapping destocking), such that our FY27 org EBIT estimates (UBSe -0.6%) is only -2% below consensus," the research firm noted. "We forecast FY27 +1.3% organic revenue (cons +1.3%), which assumes slight improvement versus FY26, held back by still weak trends in the US and margin reset from price repositioning - we are 9% below VA cons on North America EBIT."
