12:05 AM EDT, 07/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Riyadh Air is contemplating the purchase of between 25 and 30 additional Boeing (BCO.F) 787 Dreamliner aircraft as well as further orders for Airbus (AIR.F, AIR.PA) jets, Reuters reported Monday, citing industry sources. The Saudi Arabian airline has an option to buy 33 Boeing Dreamliner aircraft in connection with an order placed in 2023. An announcement regarding exercising a majority of the options is expected at the upcoming Farnborough Airshow in the UK, according to the news outlet's sources. Riyadh Air also has options for an additional 25 Airbus A350-1000 ⁠long-haul jets, with the sources indicating that some of the options may be exercised.
