PowerCell Sweden Bags SEK30 Million Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems Order from US-based ECL

01:21 AM EDT, 07/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- PowerCell Sweden (PCELL.ST) secured a 30 million-krona order from US-based data center company ECL to supply its PS190 fuel cell systems for the latter's data center in Santa Clara, California, US. The hydrogen fuel cell stacks and systems company's fuel cell systems will be deployed at ECL's FlexGrid microgrid architecture at its 35-megawatt CSC-1 campus, according to a Monday release. Deliveries are planned to be completed by the end of 2026, and the deal also covers distributed master controller licenses. According to a separate same-day release, both companies also signed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding for an additional 300 megawatts of hydrogen fuel cell capacity.
