(SASE:9574), d/b/a ProMedEx, said Tuesday it entered a deal to set up a joint venture with China's Beijing Synapsor Artificial Intelligence. The new entity, named PMX Syai Arabia Co., was created to operate a 35 million-Saudi-riyal project to build a manufacturing plant for single-use medical products and consumables. The medical devices distributor said that the construction of the facility will start on Aug. 23, 2026, with completion expected in May 2027. Additionally, trial operations will start in June 2027, and commercial production is expected to start in August 2027.
