05:20 AM EDT, 07/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics (STMPA.PA, STMMI.MI) agreed with Focal Point Positioning to commercially launch a global navigation satellite system technology for automotive applications. According to a Tuesday release, the deal outlines the commercial offering of the S-GNSS Auto and Teseo solution that the companies jointly developed under a partnership agreement in May 2025. The product will be launched as a firmware upgrade to Teseo devices, the UK-based global navigation satellite system software developer Focal Point noted.
