The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference. Some reporters asked questions about the recent speculation of the so-called “non-red supply chain” by the heads of the Japanese and Taiwanese economic departments. Spokesman Zhu Fenglian said that the so-called “non-red supply chain” is an ideological political manipulation by certain countries, which violates economic laws and market laws, undermines world economic stability, disrupts normal international trade, and harms the island's economic development. The Democratic Progressive Party authorities, out of their “independence” nature, are trying their best to block and restrict cross-strait economic and trade cooperation. On the other hand, they sell Taiwan's superior industries three or four to outside forces and give up their autonomy in economic development. However, what they have done has only been more unscrupulous extortion and plunder by “foreign masters,” harming the interests and future of Taiwanese enterprises and people. The DPP authorities persisted in their actions to push for the so-called “decoupling and breaking the chain between the two sides of the Strait,” and went to great lengths; they only took stones and hit themselves in the foot.
