11:23 PM EDT, 07/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Poste Italiane (PST.MI) received clearance from the Bank of Italy for the indirect acquisition of financial services company TIMFin through its planned takeover of Italian telecommunications group Telecom Italia (TIT.MI). The Italian postal services company clarified that the indirect purchase is subject to the completion of the takeover proposal, according to a Tuesday release. In line with the clearance, Poste Italiane also secured a guarantee of approval for its offer document from Italy's securities market regulator, Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa.
