Antofagasta Posts Lower H1 Copper, Molybdenum Production; Gold Output Rises

02:20 AM EDT, 07/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Antofagasta (ANTO.L) said Wednesday its copper and molybdenum production fell for the first half ended June 30, while gold production rose year over year. Copper production came in at 285,000 tonnes, compared with 314,900 tonnes in the year-ago period. Molybdenum production dropped to 6,100 tonnes from 7,400 tonnes. Gold production increased to 92,800 ounces from 91,200 ounces. For 2026, the mining company confirmed its copper production guidance in the range of 650,000 tonnes to 700,000 tonnes.
