03:51 AM EDT, 07/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rheinmetall (RHM.F) signed a memorandum of understanding with Space Norway to boost cooperation on space-based defense capabilities. The defense company said in a Wednesday release that the partnership is focused on maritime domain awareness. The new memorandum establishes a framework for exploring joint opportunities in satellite communications, sensors, mission systems and other areas. Rheinmetall noted that the planned integration of Space Norway's C-band SAR satellite capabilities forms the core of the memorandum.
