05:08 AM EDT, 07/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Freemelt Holding (FREEM.ST, FREEM-BTA.ST) said Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with German fusion technology company Proxima Fusion and joined the Alpha Alliance, which is developing a stellarator-based fusion demonstrator. The Swedish 3D printer company will provide expertise in electron beam powder bed fusion technology and tungsten component production, initially focusing on plasma-facing parts for the demonstrator's divertor and first wall. The collaboration is expected to cover design, prototyping, testing and potential industrialization, with separate agreements planned for future projects and deliveries.
