01:27 AM EDT, 07/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Recordati (REC.MI) said Wednesday its board considers the 51.29-euro-per-share offer from Respighi BidCo to be "fair," approving the pharmaceutical company's formal response to the voluntary tender offer. Six of the board's 10 directors supported the offer, citing a fairness opinion from Lazard. However, the remaining four directors considered the price to be financially inadequate, following a separate opinion from Rothschild & Co Italia.
