03:48 AM EDT, 07/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Telecom Egypt (TEEG.L) said Thursday it will not proceed with a proposed deal to sell a 75% to 80% stake in a subsidiary holding its Regional Data Center Hub to Helios Investments after certain transaction conditions were not met. The Egyptian telecommunications operator affirmed plans to transfer its data center assets and operations into a wholly owned subsidiary focused on expanding the business in Egypt and abroad.
