03:28 AM EDT, 07/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Valterra Platinum (VAL.JO, VALT.L) said Friday its platinum group metals, or PGM, sales volume and production in the first half jumped year over year. The South African platinum mining company's PGM sales volume for the six months ended June 30 stood at 1,737,000 ounces, compared with 1,475,200 ounces in the same period a year ago. Meanwhile, refined PGM production was 1,741,900 ounces, compared with 1,391,100 ounces earlier. The company affirmed its refined PGM production guidance of between 3 million ounces and 3.4 million ounces per year for 2026, 2027, and 2028.
