08:06 AM EDT, 07/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission on Friday approved German insurance group Munich Re's (MUV2.F) planned acquisition of a stake in Oaktree Capital Holdings' housing portfolio in Spain. The regulator concluded that the deal, which covers the ownership and leasing of residential real estate, would not create competition concerns as the companies will have a limited combined market presence following the deal's completion.
