08:25 AM EDT, 07/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission approved the proposed joint control acquisition of KS Huayu AluTech GmbH by German companies Porsche AG (P911.F) and Rheinmetall (RHM.F). The commission said Friday the deal would not raise competition concerns due to the companies' limited market positions once the transaction closes. The deal primarily relates to the sale of automotive components for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
