08:35 AM EDT, 07/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Emirates Telecommunications Group Co. (ADX:EAND), d/b/a e&, said Friday it completed the sale of its stake in Vodafone Group (VOD.L). The Emirati telecommunications company transferred its entire holdings of 3,944,743,685 Vodafone shares to the counterparty banks of the Niel family group's acquisition vehicle, Vega, for 21.5 billion Emirati dirhams. E& will also receive Vodafone's full-year 2026 final dividend of 0.0202 pound sterling per share, bringing the total consideration to 21.9 billion dirhams. E& secured a net cash return of 4.8 billion dirhams from the sale.
