Stetson University plans to modernize the Stetson University College of Law’s Tampa Law Center and create a mixed-use space in a currently underutilized area with the help of Bromley Companies. Bromley hopes to maintain Stetson Law’s presence but add hotel rooms, apartments, restaurants and more.

On the 6.5-acre site, Bromley envisions 664 multifamily units, 440,000 square feet of office space, 37,450 square feet of retail space and 300 hotel keys

The developer is aiming for a late 2027 groundbreaking.

The redevelopment will occur in phases, with no disruption to Stetson’s classes or operation on the property. The university filed a rezoning application to make way for the project, which will require approval from Tampa City Council.

The University will retain ownership of the Stetson Law Center and have permanent access to use of the hotel and parking garage.
