Together with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and LXP Industrial Trust, today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Brookfield and CPP Investments will acquire LXP in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $5.2 billion, including net debt and preferred equity. Brookfield Asset Management shares T.BAM are trading up $0.85 at $66.20.
