10:39 AM EDT, 07/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Bank of England's Prudential Regulation Authority imposed a 4.2 million-pound-sterling fine against Talanx's (TLX.F) HDI Global for misreporting data related to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, or FSCS, and associated fee tariff information. The PRA said HDI Global submitted incorrect data related to the scheme several times between August 2021 and August 2024, adding that the insurance group's unit failed to apply "due skill, care and diligence." The regulator also found that HDI Global failed to check its rulebook or guidance on FSCS coverage and fee calculations, lacked effective written processes for the calculations, and showed a "lack of clear accountability, internal oversight and challenge." HDI Global's fine was reduced from nearly 6 million pounds after the company implemented a number of remediation initiatives and agreed to resolve the matter.
