02:35 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Competition and Markets Authority launched on Tuesday an invitation-to-comment process for flavor products company McCormick & Co.'s (MCX.F) proposed acquisition of the foods business of consumer goods company Unilever (ULVR.L, UNA.AS). The regulator is seeking comments from interested parties as part of the information-gathering process for a potential formal investigation into the transaction. Comments will be accepted until Aug. 5.
