04:18 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TeamViewer (TMV.F) was hit with an administrative fine of 240,000 euros by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, or BaFin, after failing to disclose a cyberattack faced by the company. The regulator determined that the German technology group breached the Market Abuse Regulation's ad hoc disclosure requirement by not providing markets and investors with the information promptly to avoid its potential impact on the prices of its securities and other financial instruments, according to a Monday release. BaFin noted that companies are required to publish such information as soon as possible to ensure transparency in trading and enable investors to make informed decisions.
