International Public Partnerships Unit Bags 15-year Concession Agreement for German Rail Project

05:56 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- International Public Partnerships (INPP.L) unit BeNEX secured a new passenger network concession contract for two German states, Bavaria and Hesse. The infrastructure investment company plans to invest 46 million euros in BeNEX's project over the next four years, according to a Tuesday release. Operations on the project, which covers the procurement of up to 56 new electric passenger trains, are expected to commence in December 2030. The 15-year concession starts after the project becomes operational.
