According to the news, recently, Lukfook Group announced that the group's overall retail value (including its own stores, brand stores and e-commerce business) and retail revenue (including its own stores and e-commerce business) increased by 32% and 43% respectively in the first quarter. Among them, the retail value of gold and platinum products increased by 6 percentage points to 82% year-on-year due to a sharp increase in sales of investment gold products. In addition, the group re-entered the Singapore market during the quarter and opened a self-operated store to further expand its international business footprint. Along with a new brand store opened in Vietnam, the group added a total of two overseas stores in the first quarter.
According to CICC's research report, 1QFY27 Lukfook Group's retail value/same-store sales increased by 32%/39% respectively, up from 19%/33% in the previous quarter. Among them, China's Hong Kong, Macau and other markets benefited from strong local demand in Hong Kong, China, and the positive passenger flow and sales performance in mainland China driven by the price advantage of Hong Kong and Macau and RMB appreciation. Retail value/same store increased by 41%/41%, respectively. Among them, the same stores in Hong Kong/Macau and overseas markets also increased by 44%/49% and 14% respectively. During the quarter, the group returned to Singapore to open its own store and added a new brand store in Vietnam.
