02:29 AM EDT, 07/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority launched a special review of Eckert & Ziegler's (EUZ.F) 2024 results concerning the accounting treatment of the Pentixapharm spin-off. Under the review, BaFin will assess whether the German isotope technology company's control relationships required Pentixapharm's assets and liabilities to be recognized through earnings rather than removed from the balance sheet following the October 2024 separation. Any adjustment could result in additional 2024 profit from discontinued operations but would not affect other key figures or subsequent financial years.
