Harena Rare Earths Secures US Funding for Madagascar Project

05:05 AM EDT, 07/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Harena Rare Earths (HREE.L) signed a project development funding agreement with the US government's international investment arm, the US International Development Finance Corp. Under the deal, the department will contribute $4.8 million towards the development of the rare earths company's Ampasindava ionic clay project in Madagascar, according to a Wednesday filing. The company will use the proceeds for permitting, environmental and social studies, and the development of its proof-of-concept pilot plant.
