08:21 AM EDT, 07/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fincantieri Group's (FCT.MI) Vard secured a deal to design and construct two vessels for British general lighthouse authority Trinity House for over 220 million euros. The Italian shipbuilder said the multi-purpose buoy and lighthouse maintenance vessels, which will be equipped with digital and cybersecurity capabilities, will also be used for hydrographic survey activities and emergency response capabilities. The delivery is expected in the second and fourth quarters of 2029.
