04:47 AM EDT, 07/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Water and environmental monitoring technologies Metir (MET.L) received a formal confirmation for a continuous toxicity monitoring project in Qatar. The project, deployed by the company's Modern Water division, was commissioned by Qatar General Electricity & Water Corp. and Avanceon Automation & Control, according to a Thursday filing. The parties have confirmed their long-term commitment of at least 10 years for the project, with the contract to transition to its maintenance phase following final handover in October. Metir noted that the project will serve as a key commercial reference installation for future deployments of the technology in the Middle East.
