04:10 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Neo Energy Metals (NEO.L) signed a site access and contractorship agreement with mining group Sibanye-Stillwater (SSW.JO) for the Beatrix 4 Shaft mining area in South Africa. The deal will enable the London-listed uranium and gold company to start a fully funded assessment program at the site before it secures the mining right from Sibanye-Stillwater, which requires regulatory approvals, according to a Friday release. Neo Energy will fully fund the assessment to deliver an updated resource estimate and implementation plan for the site, which includes the New Beisa uranium-gold project in South Africa. Gold production is still expected to begin in December 2027.
