06:55 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Medicines Agency's human medicines committee recommended approval for Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.F) unit Janssen-Cilag International's plaque psoriasis drug Icotyde, or icotrokinra. Icotyde is intended to treat moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in patients above 12 years weighing at least 40 kilograms, according to a Friday release. The agency's endorsement is based on the results of four late-stage studies. The EMA will now send the opinion to the European Commission for the adoption of a decision on an EU-wide marketing authorization.
