UAE's du Gets Ministry of Finance's Notice for Extension of Federal Royalty Regime Scheme

11:29 PM EDT, 07/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co. (DFM:DU), d/b/a du, received a notice from the Ministry of Finance for the extension of the current federal royalty scheme and corporate tax law, according to a July 24 filing. The three-year extension, valid from Jan. 1, 2027, to Dec. 31, 2029, includes a federal royalty rate of 38% and a corporate tax rate of 9% after deducting the federal royalty amount, both applicable on net profits generated in the United Arab Emirates. The telecommunications group noted that the amounts will be payable within five months following the close of the fiscal year.
