SES Expects $5.6 Billion of Incentive Payments from US Upper C-band Order

02:01 AM EDT, 07/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SES (SESG.PA) said Monday it expects to receive gross incentive payments of $5.6 billion plus transition costs reimbursements from the Upper C-band Report & Order in the US. The US Federal Communications Commission recently approved the order, under which 160 megahertz of Upper C-band for terrestrial wireless services will be auctioned off in the country. Completion of the auction is expected by July 2027. The incentive payments are subject to spectrum clearing deadlines in 2030 and 2031, the space solutions company noted.
