03:59 AM EDT, 07/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fincantieri (FCT.MI) signed an agreement with the shareholders representing the senior management of Next Geosolutions Europe as part of its planned acquisition of the marine geoscience and offshore construction support company. Under the deal, the shareholders will reinvest over 70% of their holdings and transfer shares representing a 4.13% stake in Next Geosolutions to the Italian shipbuilder when the acquisition closes, according to a Monday release. The agreement will also enable the reinvesting shareholders to gradually sell their remaining interest in the company through put and call options in 2027, 2028 and 2029.
