11:19 PM EDT, 07/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Orange (ORA.PA) entered into an exclusivity agreement with infrastructure investor Morrison to create an equally owned data center company in France. The pair committed to a 3 billion-euro investment program to support the joint venture, according to a Monday release. The French telecommunications company will contribute five data center campuses across the country, while its partner pledged equity from its global value-add strategy. Orange said the venture is in line with its target to grow its data center portfolio in France to 400 megawatts. The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of 2026, with completion anticipated in the first quarter of 2027. The transaction is subject to employee consultations and the approval of relevant regulators.
