Zhitong Finance App News, Kyushu Rail (688485.SH) announced that the company's subsidiary Suzhou Jingxi Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the construction of an advanced semiconductor wafer laser invisible cutting industrialization project (tentative name, subject to the final filing name of the relevant department). The total investment amount of the project will not exceed 630 million yuan, of which the purchased equipment is expected to be no more than 600 million yuan. The project is expected to complete the construction of the production line and gradually put into operation in the first quarter of 2027.

The project uses high-end laser stealth cutting technology as the core development line, focusing on the layout of advanced semiconductor precision processing supporting services. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can achieve full processing capacity coverage of 8-inch and 12-inch silicon optical wafers and silicon accessories. The downstream core service group covers optical module companies and semiconductor chip design and manufacturers, providing one-stop specialized precision processing solutions for the whole process, such as high-precision invisible wafer cutting, wafer thinning, and chip sorting and inspection.

With the implementation of the project, Kyushu Railway can rely on Jingxi Semiconductor's precision processing capabilities to continue to promote customized development and performance iteration of related core devices, provide a solid process foundation for full-link optimization of the voiceprint digital monitoring system from lower-level hardware to upper application, further consolidate the first publishing station in the field of integration of artificial intelligence and high-end equipment manufacturing, and enhance the autonomous and controllable capabilities of the core supply chain.
