11:45 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Zurich Insurance Group (ZURN.SW) dismissed over 12 employees following a partial sales ban imposed by Swiss regulator Finma on the company's corporate life and pensions unit, Bloomberg News reported late Monday, citing an interview with Group Chief Executive Officer Mario Greco. Finma initiated enforcement proceedings after the insurer's Swiss unit sold policies to local clients at prices below the approved rates, according to Greco. The CEO added that the unit is only allowed to serve existing customers while the investigation is underway, noting that the ban will not affect the group's bottom line given the unit's annual profit of 20 million francs.
