Listen to the news

A week ago, Lodha Developers Limited (NSE:LODHA) came out with a strong set of first-quarter numbers that could potentially lead to a re-rate of the stock. It was overall a positive result, with revenues beating expectations by 5.0% to hit ₹44b. Lodha Developers also reported a statutory profit of ₹13.70, which was an impressive 40% above what the analysts had forecast. Earnings are an important time for investors, as they can track a company's performance, look at what the analysts are forecasting for next year, and see if there's been a change in sentiment towards the company. We've gathered the most recent statutory forecasts to see whether the analysts have changed their earnings models, following these results.

NSEI:LODHA Earnings and Revenue Growth July 29th 2026

Taking into account the latest results, the current consensus from Lodha Developers' 20 analysts is for revenues of ₹196.3b in 2027. This would reflect a reasonable 8.0% increase on its revenue over the past 12 months. Statutory per share are forecast to be ₹41.38, approximately in line with the last 12 months. Yet prior to the latest earnings, the analysts had been anticipated revenues of ₹196.1b and earnings per share (EPS) of ₹40.76 in 2027. So it's pretty clear that, although the analysts have updated their estimates, there's been no major change in expectations for the business following the latest results.

The consensus price target rose 8.8% to ₹1,319despite there being no meaningful change to earnings estimates. It could be that the analystsare reflecting the predictability of Lodha Developers' earnings by assigning a price premium. The consensus price target is just an average of individual analyst targets, so - it could be handy to see how wide the range of underlying estimates is. There are some variant perceptions on Lodha Developers, with the most bullish analyst valuing it at ₹1,500 and the most bearish at ₹998 per share. These price targets show that analysts do have some differing views on the business, but the estimates do not vary enough to suggest to us that some are betting on wild success or utter failure.

Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. It's pretty clear that there is an expectation that Lodha Developers' revenue growth will slow down substantially, with revenues to the end of 2027 expected to display 11% growth on an annualised basis. This is compared to a historical growth rate of 17% over the past five years. Compare this against other companies (with analyst forecasts) in the industry, which are in aggregate expected to see revenue growth of 21% annually. So it's pretty clear that, while revenue growth is expected to slow down, the wider industry is also expected to grow faster than Lodha Developers.

The Bottom Line

The most important thing to take away is that there's been no major change in sentiment, with the analysts reconfirming that the business is performing in line with their previous earnings per share estimates. On the plus side, there were no major changes to revenue estimates; although forecasts imply they will perform worse than the wider industry. There was also a nice increase in the price target, with the analysts clearly feeling that the intrinsic value of the business is improving.

Keeping that in mind, we still think that the longer term trajectory of the business is much more important for investors to consider. We have forecasts for Lodha Developers going out to 2029, and you can see them free on our platform here.
