OpenAI posted an article on social media platform X on July 28, local time, that an open source version of Codex Security CLI has been released. Users can now use the tool to scan code warehouses, track issues found across multiple runs, verify fix results, and incorporate security checks into continuous integration and continuous delivery processes. OpenAI said that the product is still in the early stages of release and will continue to be improved in the future based on user feedback.
