02:13 AM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Chartered (STAN.L) said Wednesday it will launch a share buyback program worth up to $1 billion. The bank said that the program is set to reduce its share capital and its CET1 ratio by 38 basis points in the third quarter.
