UK's Reckitt Benckiser Books Lower H1 Net Profit, Revenue

02:21 AM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Reckitt Benckiser Group (RKT.L) said Wednesday its net profit and net revenue for the first half fell year over year. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent company for the six months ended June 30 was 652 million pounds sterling, compared with 958 million pounds earlier. EPS moved to 1.006 pounds from 1.398 pounds. The British consumer goods giant's net revenue was 6.41 billion pounds, compared with 6.98 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board recommended an interim dividend of 0.886 pound per share, payable Sept. 18 to shareholders on record Aug. 7. It paid 0.844 pound per share in the year-ago period. Looking ahead, the company maintained its like-for-like net revenue growth outlook for Core Reckitt of between 4% and 5% for the full year 2026 and affirmed its medium-term target for growth in the same range. The non-core Mead Johnson Nutrition business is expected to deliver low-single-digit like-for-like net revenue growth in 2026.
