
Zhitong Finance App learned that the Hong Kong Investors and Financial Education Committee announced that Zhou Fuan, a non-executive director of the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission, has been appointed as Chairman of the Investment Committee. The term of office will take effect from August 1, 2026. Zhou Fuan will succeed Du Gankun as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Du Gankun's term expires on July 31, 2026. The Investment Commission is a subsidiary body of the Securities Regulatory Commission, and the CSRC appoints the chairman.

The Investment Committee also announced that Liu Huijuan has been appointed as a director of the Investment Committee for a term of three years, effective June 29, 2026. Liu is currently the Assistant Chief Executive (Organizational Development and Operations) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Zhou Fuan said that Liu Huijuan's experience in corporate governance and regulatory matters will provide the board with insightful insights. We also sincerely thank the outgoing directors Zhang Huafeng and Wu Yingqi for their contributions to the investment committee's investor and financial education work during their tenure.
