According to the Zhitong Finance App, HKT-SS (06823) announced results for the first half of 2026, with total revenue of HK$18.685 billion, up 8% year on year; profit attributable to share holders increased 4% year over year to HK$2.153 billion, profit per share of HK$28.41 per share, and distributed HK$34.80 points per share in the medium term.

Among them, revenue from local data services increased 6% to HK$7.265 billion, driving revenue from local telecommunications services increased 3% to HK$9.014 billion. Local data services are the largest component of the local telecommunications services classification, accounting for 81% of revenue. Revenue from pay TV services increased to HK$1,169 million, while revenue from local telephone services increased to HK$853 million. Revenue from international telecommunications services increased by 2% to HK$3,899 billion during the period. As a result, total revenue from telecommunications services increased by 3% to HK$12.913 billion.

The mobile communications business continued to grow, with service revenue increasing by 5% to HK$4.394 billion, mainly driven by continued growth in roaming services, expansion of the 5G postpaid customer base, and increased demand for mobile communication solutions from enterprise customers. Mobile communications product sales increased 83% year-on-year to HK$1,854 billion, mainly driven by increased demand for new flagship phones launched at the end of 2025.
