05:07 AM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- FAB Securities maintained its investment view on United Arab Bank (ADX:UAB) after the lender's second-quarter results. "We maintain our BUY rating on UAB with a target price of AED 1.60. The stock price has increased 3.8% since our last rating. The Bank delivered a strong operating performance in 2Q26, with a 9.6% YOY increase in operating income, reflecting disciplined strategy execution, robust asset growth, and prudent risk management amid global and regional uncertainties," analysts said Tuesday. "Furthermore, the Bank's 2Q26 performance was supported by continued investment in people, products, systems, and processes, reinforcing ongoing operational progress." Thanks to higher funded and non-funded income, and impairment reversals, the Abu Dhabi-listed bank logged an 18.6% year-over-year rise in net profit to 126 million Emirati dirhams, surpassing FAB's estimate of 85 million dirhams. The company also posted total operating income of 228 million dirhams, against the research firm's 206 million-dirham forecast.
